Principal Scientist, Computational Biology

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Principal Scientist, Computational Biology to serve as a computational partner for oncology drug development programs, translating patient-derived data into biomarker hypotheses and decision-grade recommendations while building computational capabilities for the broader portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the translational computational scientist for assigned oncology drug development programs, supporting the continuum from target validation through early clinical studies
• Shape biomarker strategy and patient selection hypotheses, analyzing multimodal datasets from oncology studies
• Design and deploy AI approaches for evidence integration and hypothesis generation across patient omics and genetic evidence

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master's with 6+ years; or Bachelor's with 8+ years
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting high-dimensional patient-derived molecular data in oncology
• Strong programming skills in R and/or Python, with experience in reproducible analysis and data visualization
• Working knowledge of the oncology drug development process, including target validation and early clinical development
• Experience with spatial transcriptomics and/or spatial proteomics, including familiarity with relevant analysis tools
