Principal Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a hybrid role, the full-time Principal Security Engineer will serve as the technical strategist and architect for security and identity management across the organization's technical ecosystem, focusing on identity and access management while collaborating with security and infrastructure leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Drive security and identity strategy across Network, Endpoint, Azure/AD Infrastructure, and Okta, partnering with security and infrastructure leadership
• Lead the vision and technical direction of the organization's identity and access management program, establishing best practices and governance
• Design and implement comprehensive identity governance solutions, ensuring compliance and consolidating fragmented identity systems

Required qualifications

• BA with 12+ years of experience in information security or identity and access management
• Expertise in IAM principles, identity protocols, and corporate security domains including DLP and secure remote access
• Deep experience with enterprise directory services, particularly Active Directory and Azure AD; Okta experience is highly valued
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC2, and NYDFS
• Proven ability to architect and implement security solutions in complex, multi-domain environments
