Principal Security Engineer

Job Summary

To strengthen and mature engineering security, the full-time Principal Security Engineer will focus on securing the SaaS platform and development infrastructure while partnering with engineering teams to enhance security practices and implement tooling for secure development, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Improve security across CI/CD pipelines and establish secure software delivery practices
• Own and enhance vulnerability scanning and remediation capabilities, integrating them into engineering workflows
• Lead threat modeling and security reviews for critical systems to identify risks and guide architectural decisions

Required qualifications

• Strong engineering background in software, platform, infrastructure, or security engineering
• Solid security fundamentals with practical experience in software development and cloud infrastructure security
• Experience with software delivery security, including CI/CD and vulnerability management
• Understanding of SaaS security challenges related to customer data and cloud-based services
• AI-forward mindset with an interest in AI security capabilities and associated risks
