Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with peers to design advertising software solutions, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will develop end-to-end solutions, manage dependencies, and ensure quality assurance while working remotely in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions based on architecture and system requirements, utilizing programming languages such as Go and Python
- Mentor junior team members and manage risk while adhering to Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
- Contribute to software architecture decisions and deploy applications to cloud environments using AWS services and modern deployment practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 5 years of progressive experience in software engineering and full-stack development
- Proficiency in programming languages including Go and Python, and experience with AWS cloud services
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Jira
- Experience with CI/CD practices, quality automation, and performance optimization techniques
