Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
To elevate the engineering team's capabilities, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will own the architecture of the software system, drive automation in the development lifecycle, and ensure the foundation supports growth in international and enterprise markets.
Key responsibilities
- Redesign and enhance the development processes, integrating AI as a core infrastructure
- Make critical architectural decisions to maintain system integrity while scaling
- Mentor and elevate the engineering team to improve productivity and output quality
Required qualifications
- Proven experience owning production software end-to-end, including post-launch
- Demonstrated fluency in AI with tangible contributions to software development
- Full-stack development experience, preferably with Rails, React, Postgres, AWS, and Swift
- Experience making architectural decisions in existing systems
- Evidence of improving team workflows and outcomes beyond just code delivery
