Job Summary
To influence architecture across cloud-native microservices and customer-facing applications, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will serve as the technical authority for next-generation pharmacy software, requiring 20% travel.
Key responsibilities
- Design, scale, and troubleshoot production microservices in low-latency, high-throughput environments
- Develop and implement event-driven systems using platforms like Kafka and manage messaging patterns
- Lead the development of multi-tenant SaaS platforms while effectively communicating technical trade-offs to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; master's degree is a plus
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience building distributed, real-time, or high-throughput systems
