Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Hands-on and collaborative, the fully remote Principal Software Engineer will write, review, and ship critical production code while driving high-impact initiatives such as optimizing clinician dispatch and integrating AI capabilities into clinical and patient platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-impact platform features by refining clinician routing algorithms and optimizing dispatch logic
- Collaborate with peers for QA and quality ownership, ensuring high reliability and user experience
- Mentor and elevate peers through architecture reviews and pair programming to foster a learning culture
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience in developing and maintaining complex web and mobile platforms
- Proven ability as a Staff or Principal Engineer with a focus on writing production code and guiding system design
- Deep proficiency in Kotlin, Spring Boot, Python, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL
- Strong practical experience with GCP, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Prior experience in healthcare technology, including HIPAA compliance and telehealth platforms, is highly preferred
