Leading the development of a next-generation pricing engine, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will architect and enhance a highly scalable platform for managing over 200 million fares, addressing complex challenges in distributed systems and performance engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Extend and evolve the high-performance pricing engine to support new use cases
- Shape the platform's architecture and drive key technical decisions
- Optimize system performance and reliability while solving complex challenges in distributed systems
Required qualifications
- Expert-level programming skills in C and Rust, with knowledge of Go or Python as a plus
- Proven experience building and operating fault-tolerant distributed systems in production
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, performance, and resource management
