Job Summary
Proactively driving the technical vision for CI/CD, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will manage the roadmap and infrastructure for deployment processes, ensuring security and efficiency across teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Define the roadmap and technical vision for CI/CD, ensuring organization-wide adoption
- Identify and remediate bottlenecks and security risks in the CI/CD pipeline before they escalate
- Direct engineers through complex projects, ensuring clear communication and high-quality documentation
Required qualifications:
- Deep expertise in CI/CD and experience with CI infrastructure such as Buildkite or GitHub Actions
- Strong debugging skills across the full pipeline stack, from testing to deployment
- Hands-on experience with GitOps/ArgoCD and Kubernetes
- A proven track record of leading cross-organizational projects and driving change
- Ability to mentor engineers and set standards for code quality and architectural decisions
