Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading architectural oversight on software development projects, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will research and design scalable technology solutions, mentor development teams, and promote strategic imperatives across the organization from the Boca Raton, FL corporate office.
Key responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction and oversight for software development projects within the IT organization
- Mentor and guide developers, sharing methodologies and best practices to reduce technical debt
- Design and develop application frameworks that are extensible, stable, and reusable, while communicating architectural designs to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a Technical field; Master's Degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience developing end-to-end business systems and applications in a publicly traded company
- Experience with systems architecture in a large enterprise and Agile development methodology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio for creating detailed business process documentation
- Applicable industry certifications are expected
