Job Summary
Seeking a deeply technical and ownership-minded Principal Software Engineer for a fully remote, full-time position, responsible for managing the technical debt roadmap, driving platform modernization, and leading architectural decisions across a scalable GCP platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical debt roadmap and lead platform modernization efforts through incremental migration patterns
- Build and operate an AI-native engineering workflow, ensuring reliable and auditable outputs from multi-agent orchestration
- Drive architectural decisions for distributed systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and compliance with security standards
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership roles in architecture and technical direction
- Proven experience in designing and operating scalable distributed systems and microservices in production
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL
- Strong production-grade Python skills, with experience in async services and APIs
- Experience delivering production software with AI coding agents and understanding context engineering
