Job Summary
To support the engineering evolution of risk and control capabilities at enterprise scale, the fully remote Principal Software Engineer will build and lead the TORC engineering function, establish an engineering culture, and deliver the Unified System of Controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and mature TORC's engineering capability, including talent development and engineering practices
- Lead the engineering delivery for the Unified System of Controls, ensuring scalability and sustainability
- Translate product vision and strategy into executable engineering roadmaps and delivery plans
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
- 12+ years of progressive technology and engineering experience, with a focus on enterprise-scale software
- Demonstrated experience in building and transforming engineering teams and practices
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple organizations
- Strong knowledge of modern software engineering, including automation, cloud, and secure engineering practices
