Job Summary
To support the rapid expansion of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will lead the design and development of scalable, elastic distributed systems while optimizing performance and ensuring operational readiness in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and architecture of scalable distributed systems for high-throughput workloads
- Proactively diagnose production issues and guide incident response and root cause analysis
- Implement security and compliance measures for multi-tenant environments, ensuring proper documentation
Required Qualifications
- 6 to 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related field
- Proven expertise in designing fault-tolerant and highly available systems
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation for cloud infrastructure
- Strong background in performance engineering and operational excellence
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments
