Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Principal Software Engineer, the candidate will build the next generation of a Data-as-a-Service platform focused on semantic data services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and create reusable semantic objects that enhance enterprise data understanding and AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and influence the architecture and technical direction for the Semantic Data Lake and Data as a Service
• Design and build semantic business objects that integrate enterprise data with business context and governance
• Develop scalable frameworks for creating semantic objects across multiple business lines while maintaining enterprise standards

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or distributed systems
• Deep understanding of modern data architecture and large-scale data processing
• Experience with semantic data technologies and building a semantic data layer
• Proven ability to translate complex business concepts into scalable technical abstractions
• Strong architectural judgment with experience influencing technical direction across teams
