Principal Software Engineer (EDI)
Job Summary
To drive innovative EDI solutions, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer (EDI) will design, develop, and implement Edifecs solutions while creating and updating maps and guidelines for Healthcare EDI transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Create and update EDI maps and guidelines using Edifecs tools for various healthcare transactions
- Lead agile software development efforts and mentor other engineers on best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transmissions and provide technical consultation to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of related experience, including 3+ years in software design and development
- Strong knowledge of EDI Healthcare transaction sets and Edifecs tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or a related field
- Experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices
- Proficiency in Groovy scripting and software development methodologies
