Principal Software Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the Edifecs application support organization, the full-time remote Principal Software Systems Engineer will ensure operational stability, manage staffing, and drive roadmap execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the Edifecs Platform Manager, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment
- Guide architecture decisions and oversee modernization efforts and cloud scalability
- Analyze and resolve mapping issues and performance bottlenecks while supporting release deployments and upgrades
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations with strong AWS experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Experience with EDI troubleshooting and job throughput optimization
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, and familiarity with Agile methodologies
