Principal Software Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the Edifecs application support organization, the full-time Principal Software Systems Engineer will ensure operational stability, scalability, and compliance while providing technical oversight and managing staffing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the Edifecs Platform Manager, overseeing application support and driving roadmap execution
- Guide architecture decisions and modernization efforts while collaborating with product, architecture, vendor, and business teams
- Analyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, and performance bottlenecks while supporting release deployments and upgrades
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations with strong AWS experience
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Experience with EDI troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of transaction failures
- Professional certification in EDIFECS is required
