Principal Software Test

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Principal Software Test will define and own the end-to-end testing strategy, design and execute automated test scripts using Python and JavaScript, and implement test automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute testing strategies to ensure timely delivery and minimize post-release defects
• Design and develop automated test scripts for mobile and web applications using tools such as Appium, Maestro, and Cypress
• Perform hands-on testing, including functional, regression, accessibility, performance, and security testing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field
• Four years of experience in software testing for web and mobile applications
• Two years of experience using test automation frameworks, including Appium, Maestro, or Cypress
• Two years of experience using Python and JavaScript to develop automated test scripts
• One year of experience leading QA initiatives and mentoring QA team members
