Principal Solution Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing IT ERP landscape, the full-time remote Principal Solution Architect will manage the ERP portfolio, oversee change request management, and maintain strategic visibility across dependencies and costs while fostering collaboration with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strategic view of the ERP portfolio, including priorities, dependencies, costs, risks, and cross-functional impacts
• Manage portfolio demand intake and partner with business and IT stakeholders to validate requirements, value, and funding justification
• Assess business, technical, operational, and organizational impacts of major changes to support informed decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in portfolio management, solution management, program management, or a similar role supporting enterprise ERP and connected business systems
• Working knowledge of the value chain in an enterprise ERP, including requisition to purchase order to receipt and invoice processing
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and invoice management platforms
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insight for a leadership audience
