Principal Solutions Architect

Job Summary

To support a rapidly scaling Cloud business unit, the full-time remote Principal Solutions Architect will define architecture direction, design data and AI platforms, and lead technical discovery while leveraging AI tools to enhance delivery efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define reference architectures, landing zones, and standards across cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure
• Design modern data and AI platforms, ensuring governance and cost management
• Lead technical discovery, create solution designs, and mentor architects and engineers

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or data engineering, with accountability for production systems at scale
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools)
• Proven track record of designing and shipping modern data platforms with a focus on governance and data quality
• Strong understanding of security principles, including IAM design and zero-trust networking
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and proactively draft plans while adapting as needed
