Principal Solutions Architect
Job Summary
Leading the development of comprehensive solutions for Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Principal Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to meet customer requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and design secure Azure cloud architectures.
Key responsibilities
- Develop complete solutions and price competitive proposals based on customer requirements
- Coordinate technical personnel assignments and collaborate with team members on solution development and proposal writing
- Provide subject matter expertise to ensure solutions align with technical, schedule, and cost requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record in designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Extensive knowledge of core Azure services and security best practices
- Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies
