Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the remote Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist will manage the sourcing and procurement of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical goods while analyzing market trends, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure goods and services necessary for organizational operations, including machinery and raw materials
• Compile and analyze statistical data to establish pricing objectives and develop long-term agreements with suppliers
• Evaluate supplier quality and performance, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and organizational specifications

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or 5 years with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a master's degree
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office for creating documents and presentations
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR and CPSR, along with experience in government audits
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
