Principal Systems Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Principal Systems Analyst will become a subject matter expert in electronic trading analytics, manage system design and workflow, and support production systems while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert for applications providing electronic trading analytics capabilities and represent the development team in discussions with business stakeholders
- Lead system design by translating business requirements into technical details and manage work items for developers and QA using JIRA
- Support production and non-production environments, addressing inquiries from business support teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 9+ years of Systems Analyst and Project Management experience
- Prior hands-on software development experience, particularly in complex distributed systems
- Experience with SDLC tools like JIRA and collaboration tools
- Familiarity with cloud patterns and deployments, especially in AWS
