Principal Systems Architect
Job Summary
To help architect the future of audio technology, the full-time Principal Systems Architect in Edge AI will design complex embedded hardware/software solutions, evaluate technical feasibility of new concepts, and develop AI-enabled engineering infrastructure, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Architect complex embedded hardware/software solutions for future Bose technologies
- Evaluate new concepts for technical feasibility, architectural tradeoffs, and scalability
- Build simulations and prototypes to assess candidate solutions and stress-test architectures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Significant experience developing or architecting complex embedded hardware and software systems
- Strong systems architecture experience across hardware and software
- Experience with embedded processors, SoCs, DSPs, and Linux-based platforms
- Strong knowledge of digital audio signal processing and audio system architectures
