Principal Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for a remote, full-time position, this role will plan, analyze, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain a communications and collaboration enterprise environment while providing escalation support for telephony and related services.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, analyze, and maintain the integrity of communications systems and services within the network
- Provide technical support for Senate IT and telecommunications services, assisting users with hardware and software issues
- Manage projects related to system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring optimal performance and availability of systems
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 8-10 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent experience based on degree level
- Expert-level technical support experience in telecommunications and networking systems
- Experience managing enterprise Cisco contact centers and telephony applications
- Strong knowledge of the SIP Protocol and its troubleshooting
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government security clearance
