Principal Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Leading large technical teams to meet complex customer requirements, the full-time remote Principal Systems Engineer will serve as an industry-recognized expert, synthesizing requirements into low-risk solutions and producing technical documentation for both customers and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead large technical teams to fulfill complex customer requirements
- Represent the company as the technical expert to customers, suppliers, and management
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams and report on technical status to varied audiences
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with US DoD Primes or companies supporting them
- Expert knowledge of systems engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo
- Solid understanding of SOSA and VPX system design standards
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Experience with system hardware/software development for military vehicle applications
