Principal Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

Owning the FinOps strategy, the full-time Principal Technical Program Manager will manage and optimize cloud, vendor, and AI spend across the organization while defining and building frameworks for AI cost management and driving cost optimization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously reassess the FinOps strategy for cloud, vendor, and AI cost management
• Analyze usage and contracts to identify inefficiencies and develop actionable strategies for cost reduction
• Oversee multiple cost-optimization initiatives and report on cost attribution and monitoring to leadership

Required qualifications

• Experience owning the strategy and execution of cloud, vendor, or AI cost optimization programs
• Deep knowledge of the AI vendor landscape, including pricing models and optimization techniques
• Technical expertise in cloud architecture and cost management sufficient to build or evaluate dashboards and automation
• Proven track record of managing large, cross-organizational programs across multiple business units
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively
