Principal Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

To optimize and scale cloud, vendor, and AI spending, the full-time Principal Technical Program Manager will define the FinOps strategy, drive cost optimization initiatives, and lead cross-functional programs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and define the FinOps strategy for cloud, vendor, and AI cost management across the organization
• Analyze cloud usage and vendor contracts to identify inefficiencies and develop cost-reduction strategies
• Oversee multiple cost-optimization initiatives and manage cross-functional dependencies across various teams

Required qualifications

• Experience in owning both strategy and execution for cloud, vendor, or AI cost optimization programs
• Deep knowledge of the AI vendor landscape, including pricing models and optimization techniques
• Technical expertise in cloud architecture and cost management strong enough to build or evaluate dashboards and automation
• Proven track record of running large, cross-organizational programs spanning multiple business units
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
