Job Summary
Owning the FinOps strategy for cloud, vendor, and AI cost management, the full-time Principal Technical Program Manager will define and build frameworks for cost optimization, analyze spending inefficiencies, and influence executive decision-making in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own the FinOps strategy, continuously reassessing optimization priorities based on spend and risk
- Analyze cloud usage and vendor contracts to identify inefficiencies, building dashboards and automation for actionable insights
- Lead multiple cost-optimization initiatives, managing cross-functional dependencies and reporting structures to communicate effectively with leadership
Required qualifications
- Experience in developing and executing a cloud, vendor, or AI cost optimization program
- Deep knowledge of AI vendor pricing models and optimization techniques distinct from traditional cloud management
- Strong technical expertise in cloud architecture and cost management, capable of building or evaluating automation and dashboards
- Proven track record of managing large, cross-organizational programs across multiple business units
- Exceptional executive communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into actionable decisions for leadership
