Job Summary
Leading high-impact, cross-functional programs, the full-time Principal Technical Program Manager will drive execution of complex technical initiatives aligned with company objectives, collaborating closely with Engineering and Product teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive execution of complex, cross-functional technical initiatives tied directly to company OKRs
- Produce tailored status reports and updates for various audiences, including executive summaries and detailed views for engineering
- Define the TPM operating model at OpenLoop, including standards for intake, planning, prioritization, and delivery health
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or a similar strategic technical role, including 3+ years leading multi-team programs
- Deep working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum and SAFe
- Strong technical fluency with the ability to understand systems architecture, APIs, and technical dependencies
- Proven experience driving programs tied to OKRs and measurable business outcomes
- Experience using project management tools like Jira to manage cross-functional delivery at scale
