Principal Test Engineer
Job Summary
Connecting test engineering with operations, the full-time Principal Test Design Staff Engineer will develop production test solutions for networking platforms, guide test architecture, and coordinate technical decisions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with test engineering teams to create production tests for networking platforms
- Guide test architecture and failure diagnosis for complex hardware platforms
- Coordinate technical decisions and priorities across teams to align TDE's roadmap with engineering and platform development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years of experience in product engineering with technical leadership in production operations for networking devices
- Hands-on experience in developing software and production test solutions
- Experience defining test strategies that balance coverage, reliability, and manufacturing requirements
- Background working with contract manufacturers, joint design manufacturers, and original design manufacturers
