Privacy Associate General Counsel
Job Summary
Owning the global privacy legal function, the full-time remote Privacy Associate General Counsel will advise on domestic and international privacy laws, manage the company's privacy program, and counsel product and engineering teams on privacy-by-design principles.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on domestic and international privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
- Manage the data subject request process and oversee privacy risk assessments
- Embed with product and engineering teams to provide privacy guidance during feature design
Required qualifications
- Strong academic credentials and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 7-10+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS company
- Significant experience advising on domestic and international privacy and data protection matters
- Deep knowledge of global privacy laws and regulatory frameworks
- Experience advising on privacy issues related to AI and emerging technologies is preferred
