Job Summary
Leading the privacy program remotely, the full-time salaried Privacy Compliance Vice President will develop and implement privacy policies, ensure compliance with privacy laws, and engage with stakeholders to maintain trust and safeguard sensitive data.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Oversee the enforcement of privacy policies to protect personal and sensitive information in compliance with legal frameworks
- Liaise with stakeholders to report on security and privacy matters, ensuring senior management is informed of risks and threats
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Certification in information security, risk management, or privacy (e.g. CISSP, CIPP, CISM)
- Experience in leading responses to security incidents and data breaches
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare industry standards related to HIPAA and HITRUST
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining compliance programs, including risk assessments and policy creation
