Privacy Counsel

Job Summary

To support a leading global consumer and transportation company, the full-time contract Privacy Counsel will provide legal guidance on privacy matters, including commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and incident response, while working remotely for approximately two months.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate privacy provisions in commercial agreements and data processing agreements
• Conduct privacy impact assessments for new products and technologies
• Advise stakeholders on privacy governance frameworks and consumer rights requests

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 7+ years of legal experience focused on privacy, data protection, or technology law
• Significant experience advising on commercial privacy matters and data processing agreements
• Strong understanding of U.S. and international privacy laws, including GDPR
• Experience conducting privacy impact assessments and advising on privacy-by-design principles
