Privacy Counsel
Job Summary
Supporting the Privacy and AI legal team on a contract basis, the Privacy Counsel will manage routine contract reviews, legal research, and training materials while working remotely for a duration of 3 months with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Support first-pass review of routine data processing agreements and AI vendor contracts
- Manage routine data privacy requests and oversee data subject requests
- Conduct legal research on DPO requirements and developing AI and privacy regulations
Required Qualifications
- Law degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant legal experience
- 7+ years of experience in privacy, commercial contracts, or technology law
- Strong legal research and drafting skills for internal guidance and training materials
- Experience with contract review and the ability to identify escalation points
- Familiarity with data protection and AI governance regulations
