Job Summary
Seeking a bold and creative Privacy Counsel, the full-time remote attorney will provide strategic legal guidance on privacy, emerging technologies, risk, compliance, and AI governance while enhancing established privacy programs and supporting data security due diligence efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Advise business partners on global, state, and federal privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging AI laws
- Elevate and evolve established privacy programs to ensure enterprise-wide compliance strategies
- Support technology product development and commercial operations, including commercial contracting as needed
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership in good standing
- 3+ years of experience in an in-house law department, with at least 1 year focused on privacy law
- Authorization to work in the applicable jurisdiction
- CIPP certifications are preferred
- Management experience is a plus but not required
