Job Summary
Overseeing and managing data protection and privacy programs, the full-time Privacy Director will ensure compliance with global privacy laws, conduct privacy impact assessments, and educate employees on best practices in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the organization's data protection and privacy program
- Ensure compliance with global privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA
- Manage data privacy incidents and respond to data subject requests
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in privacy, legal, cybersecurity, or compliance fields
- Experience developing and managing data protection and privacy programs in a SaaS environment
- Privacy certification such as CIPP/E or CIPP/US is preferred
- Familiarity with relevant student privacy laws, including FERPA and COPPA
