Job Summary
To support federal privacy compliance and risk management, the part-time Privacy Impact Analyst will develop, review, and maintain Privacy Impact Assessments while working remotely approximately 25 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, review, and maintenance of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for federal information systems and programs
- Assess privacy risks associated with the collection, use, and sharing of sensitive information and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
- Support compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974, E-Government Act of 2002, and applicable federal privacy requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years of relevant federal privacy experience, including developing, reviewing, and maintaining Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
- Working knowledge of federal privacy laws and regulations, including the Privacy Act of 1974 and E-Government Act of 2002
- Experience identifying, assessing, and recommending mitigation strategies for privacy risks involving personally identifiable information (PII)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determination
