Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Privacy Technologist, the full-time role will design, implement, and validate privacy-respectful systems and data practices across advertising and media businesses, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical privacy reviews throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance from architecture to post-launch validation
- Map data flows and processing dependencies, producing clear system and data-flow diagrams to enhance privacy controls
- Translate legal and product requirements into technical controls and engineering guidance in partnership with various teams
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in privacy engineering, data governance, or related technical roles
- Demonstrated ability to review system architectures and identify privacy risks with practical mitigations
- Hands-on experience with SQL and scripting in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Strong understanding of privacy principles and experience with digital advertising and identity technologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, product leaders, and legal counsel through clear documentation and diagrams
