Private Equity Fund Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Associate, Private Equity/Venture Capital, the full-time position will manage accounting data for 10-20 client engagements, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accounting data for client engagements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile portfolio and cash activity to source data and prepare quarterly net asset value reporting
- Draft annual financial statements and coordinate year-end audits with clients and independent auditors
Required qualifications
- 3+ years in fund accounting, public accounting, or a related field, focusing on closed-end private investment funds
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Practical experience working with cryptocurrency assets
- CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials are highly desirable
