Private Pay Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the full billing lifecycle for private pay customers, the full-time Private Pay Billing Specialist will ensure accurate and timely billing, collaborate with Customer Service to resolve billing concerns, and maintain compliance with HIPAA and data privacy standards in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full private pay billing lifecycle, including pre-billing, invoice generation, and post-billing activities
• Research and update patient insurance information to ensure accurate claim submission and billing
• Review accounts to identify and resolve billing discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in healthcare billing, including knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing processes
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel
• High school diploma or GED
