Private Placement Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the administration of private placement debt investments, the full-time Private Placement Operations Specialist will manage security setup, payment monitoring, and issuer reporting while ensuring compliance with investment requirements and regulatory obligations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer security setup, documentation, and reporting activities for private placement investments
• Monitor interest and principal payments, reconcile activity to custodian records, and address discrepancies
• Serve as an operational point of contact, managing inquiries and communications with various stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of regulations affecting the purchase of securities and private placements
• Understanding of private placement debt structures and note purchase agreements
• Ability to identify operational and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Some post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred
