Job Summary
Serving as the primary point of contact for client facility Medical Staff Offices, the full-time remote Privileging Coordinator will manage the privileging and reappointment processes for physicians, ensuring compliance with facility requirements while maintaining accurate credentialing files and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and client facilities
- Review applications and re-appointments for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize the credentialing system to process facility privileges and ensure timely communication
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or high school diploma with 1-2 years of experience in the medical staff field
- CPCS certification preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and collaboration tools
- Understanding of medical terminology and Joint Commission Standards
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
