Process Controls Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Process Controls Manager in a full-time remote capacity, the Process Controls Engineer will develop and improve control processes and technologies, document standards, and interface with manufacturing networks to enhance performance across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities
- Develop standards and protocols for equipment and methods used in plant control systems
- Lead project teams in designing and specifying instrument and control equipment
- Provide senior-level support for instrument and control activities, ensuring effective communication with technicians and management
Required qualifications
- BS in chemical or electrical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in process controls or related field
- Solid understanding of control system architecture and programming
- Experience with industrial networks such as Modbus and fieldbus
- Familiarity with batch and continuous chemical manufacturing processes
