Process Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on enhancing manufacturing processes, the full-time Process Engineer will provide day-to-day support for nonwovens technologies, troubleshoot equipment issues, and analyze data for continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide process engineering support for nonwovens, spunbond, and carding manufacturing technologies
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to enhance safety, quality, and reliability
- Lead safety initiatives and analyze process data to identify optimization opportunities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a relevant scientific discipline, with experience in a manufacturing or research environment
- Strong understanding of polymer, textile, or non-wovens technologies
- Experience in improving safe operations of high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Ability to analyze process data for improvement opportunities
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
