Procurement Leader

Job Summary

Owning the procurement strategy for critical mechanical and electrical equipment, the full-time Procurement Leader will manage long-lead-time sourcing and manufacturer relationships to support multi-site build-out schedules in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategy for generators, UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, and other critical equipment
• Manage long lead times by securing production slots and sequencing orders to align with construction milestones
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure equipment specifications meet design requirements

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in MEP or critical infrastructure procurement, preferably in data centers or power infrastructure
• Established relationships with major MEP OEMs such as Caterpillar and Schneider Electric
• Strong understanding of equipment redundancy tiers and their alignment with engineering specifications
• Proven ability to manage long-lead-time equipment against tight construction schedules
• Experience with capex modeling and cost tracking across major equipment categories
