Job Summary
Providing day-to-day leadership and oversight, the full-time Procurement Manager - Solar Equipment will manage procurement activities for Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, ensuring effective equipment planning, supplier coordination, and compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead procurement activities and establish relationships with cross-functional teams and suppliers
- Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance with negotiated terms and supplier agreements
- Monitor supplier performance and implement quality management processes to ensure reliable equipment delivery
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of procurement and supply-chain experience, preferably in solar or energy-related industries
- Experience with supplier contracts and commercial terms, including Incoterms
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical and commercial issues
- Proficiency with procurement, ERP, or supply-chain systems
