Procurement Specialist II
Job Summary
To support the Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) Division, the full-time remote Procurement Specialist II will manage sourcing and procurement activities, negotiate supplier terms, and ensure compliance with procurement standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Review technical project requirements and issue solicitations to promote competition
- Negotiate material/service offers and manage open orders to ensure timely receipt and payment
- Evaluate and award contracts while engaging with suppliers to improve performance
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, negotiation, and procurement, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Proficiency in market research and understanding technical requirements for effective supplier discussions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team/matrixed organization
- AA's Degree in S.T.E.M. or Supply Chain is a plus
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
