Product and Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Founding Product and Platform Engineer, this full-time remote opportunity will focus on defining architecture, developing customer-facing solutions, and creating cloud platforms while leading a small team to deliver impactful digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by Building: Act as the technical lead on key initiatives, architecting through code and setting engineering standards
- Own the Full Stack: Design and develop solutions across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
- Build the Paved Road: Shape the platform to enhance engineering efficiency through automation and thoughtful design
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in React/TypeScript for frontend development and experience with distributed backends in Go, Python, or TypeScript
- Hands-on architectural experience with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to design scalable and resilient systems
- Experience collaborating with Product and Design teams to deliver valuable user solutions
