Job Summary
Seeking experienced legal professionals, the remote Product and Technology Counsel will provide practical legal guidance to corporate legal departments throughout the product lifecycle, focusing on regulatory compliance and risk assessment in a contract-based role.
Key responsibilities:
- Advising product and business teams during the development and launch of new products and features
- Identifying and assessing legal and regulatory risks associated with product development and deployment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide business-oriented legal guidance on privacy, data protection, and emerging technology issues
Required qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Significant experience advising on product-related legal matters
- Experience working directly with product, engineering, or technology teams
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory issues affecting digital products and services
- Prior in-house or secondment experience is a plus
